Arriving on Arran

After arriving at Glasgow Central Station we met up with the rest of our team.  The team is made up of Lucy, Laura, Sophie, Jemima, Becky, Rachel Calum, Rory, John, Alex, Tom and Adil, with our leader Lucy. After a short train journey to Ardrossan Harbour and a choppy ferry ride to Brodick we arrived on Arran.  A cramped bus trip allowed us to view the stunning scenery and took us to the Kilmory Hall Bunkhouse, our home for five days.

Following a short briefing, Lucy and Adil were left to cook a fantastic spag bol, as per the rota, while the rest of the group traveled down to the beach where we acquired a dog!

Flan Cakes!

After the main course, naturally, we had a dessert, flan cake topped with squirty cream and fresh fruit. All in all an interesting day with a walk up Goatfell planned for tomorrow.
