Hi everyone, Lucy Wallace here, I'm the leader for this year's Adventure Expeditions John Muir Award Residentials on the Isle of Arran on the West Coast of Scotland. Its the evening before the first team members arrive and I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting started on two weeks of fantastic activities. We will be exploring the island and its natural environment, undertaking wildlife surveys, helping local conservation groups, and getting creative. All of this will be working towards the John Muir Discovery Award, a conservation award for young people that challenges them to really discover, explore, conserve and share a wild place. Arran is my home, and one of my favourite places in all the world, and I can't wait to share it with the Adventure Expeditions teams.
